Welcome to my Gallery
I have arranged the paintings more or less
according to size, beginning with the large
formats.
I believe that my paintings cannot be easily
categorized. Strictly speaking, they are all
still life paintings, but they often show
landscapes, or references to land or seascapes
None of them forgets the human presence and
one or two show the human figure in some form.
With very few exceptions, all the paintings
are custom framed in plain, untreated wood, my
having discovered years ago that elaborate
framing just does not suit my work. I then
paint the frames myself in the studio. When
this is done, I consider the paintings to be
completed.
